Delicious!

I’m using the Sumatra beans and they are fresh and great smelling and tasting. I was seeking a dark roast for use in my ninja cafe luxe pro, which gets clogged if one uses oily beans. Pop’s are air roasted so that helps this issue a lot. We love the taste , the richness, the deliciousness, the freshness.

I've been drinking Sumatra Mandheling for over

I've been drinking Sumatra Mandheling for over 2 years now and I brew it in my Keurig. I love filling my own pods. And the amazing thing to me is that I never had fresh ground coffee before. The rich bold dark roast doesn't taste like any other coffee I've ever had. It's a hit with me. I love it!

Good for What it is

I stumbled across Pop’s Coffee and was intrigued by the Sumatra description and detail. My go-to coffee is dark roasted so being a fan of Sumatra and dark roast, I gave it a try.

The coffee shipped quickly, appeared to be fresh while providing a good balance of flavors. I was a bit disappointed in the degree of roast as I was looking for a stage darker roast where the beans are oily. This Sumatra did t provide the level of dark roast that I prefer however, using my longtime favorite dark roast coffee, I experimented with different ratios of this Sumatra and my usual. I found the 3:1 ratio of my favorite dark roast and this Sumatra worked pretty well.

Great Coffee!

All of the coffee from Pops is really good. The espresso blend is great for lattes, and the costa rican doka estate decaf is amazing in milk too. I don't usually drink decaf but I do now 75% of the time because I enjoy it even more than the caffeinated coffee.
