Percolator

I’ve used a French press for many years and only recently switched to a percolator. This really brings out the richness of the Colombian Supremo coffee. Additionally in Florida I use refrigerator filtered water. Percolated coffee is even better than coffee from a French press.

This coffee is a great blend of beans producing a balance of flavors bold enough to be noted, yet providing smooth drinkability. From grinding the beans to brewing- the aromas are delightful. It checks the boxes of what I look for... and the fresh roasted whole beans- which I grind before brewing means each pot will be far more vibrant and flavorful than big brands found in stores. As good as it gets

I don't think of myself as a coffee snob. However, I have searched and searched the grocery store isles for a coffee that is very enjoyable to drink; it doesn't seem to exist, regardless of the name brand. A couple of years pre-pandemic, I absolutely fell in love with the Guatemalan coffee from Pop's. I was devastated when the pandemic made my favorite coffee disappear. I was overjoyed this past month to find out it was still available and ordered a bunch including the Guatemalan, Ethiopian, Columbia, House Blend, and Sumatran. All excellent coffees I revel in every morning. A little pricey compared to store bought, but proof you get what you pay for.
